About Bendurya Pure Garden
Centre for traditional Tibetan medicine in Belgium.
A project born from the heart, at the intersection of traditional Tibetan medicine, nature, and life, wherecare, transmission, and personal development meet in the service of humanity.
Our story
Bendurya Pure Garden was born from the meeting of a millennia-old tradition – Tibetan medicine "Sowa Rigpa" – and the deep desire to make it alive and accessible in Belgium.
Driven by the vision of the Dr Nida Chenagtsang, his spiritual teacher, to establish a Tibetan medicine centre in every country, Justine Volvert found her path and vocation in Sowa Rigpa.
Since 2013, she has been training at Sorig Khang International (SKŸ) and, driven by the passion to make this wisdom accessible in Belgium, she founded with her parents the ASBL Alaya, which gave birth to Bendurya Pure Garden.
This centre, surrounded by greenery, has been designed as a living garden, a place of care, teaching, and transmission.
Our intention
To preserve and faithfully transmit Sowa Rigpa — traditional Tibetan medicine — while making it accessible in our contemporary world.
Our intention is to preserve and transmit the authentic teaching of Sowa Rigpa, the Tibetan science of healing, while adapting it appropriately to the needs of our time.
Throughour consultations, our training & courses, our retreats, as well asour meditation and yoga practices, we work to ensure that everyone can cultivate sustainable health, inner balance, and a more conscious relationship with themselves.
We aspire to build bridges between tradition and modernity, between East and West, so that this living wisdom can touch and transform the lives of many people.

Discover the place
Located in Gesves, near Namur, Bendurya is a space in full transformation, designed to welcome, heal, and transmit.
Each step of its construction is guided by a simple intention:to create a deeply human space, connected to nature, conducive to transmission, rest, and inner evolution, notably through a contemplative garden whose harmony supports the natural processes of healing.
Our values
Authenticity
To preserve the purity and fidelity of the teachings received, in direct connection with the authentic tradition of Sowa Rigpa through the study of fundamental texts as well as the lineage of Yuthok Nyinthig which is intimately connected to it.

Kindness
To welcome everyone with respect, gentleness, and openness, in an atmosphere of trust and listening.

Harmony
To bring together care, teachings, meditation, and the art of living to offer a complete path of personal and collective transformation.
